Springtime is nearly upon us which means a time for changes and new beginnings.  On April 1st, after over 20 years of hard work and dedication, Liz Jackson is ready to enjoy the fruits of her labor.  She is handing over the business to new owner, Natalie King.  Liz has done an amazing job building her business from scratch and growing it to the great log cabin rental business it is today.  Natalie is excited to continue with the success Liz started and use that to propel the business onwards and upwards.

What's in a Name?

Another change happening is the name.  Hatcher Pass Bed and Breakfast will now be called Hatcher Pass Cabins.  With the name change, high quality service will continue and the most notable difference is that breakfast items will no longer be provided.  Some returning cabin dwellers may be disappointed, but fear not!  The Fishhook area is growing which means services, like food and beverages, are following (have you checked out Little Susitna Coffee?).

Hatcher Pass is Your New Hosts’ Playground

Over 10 years ago Natalie first came to Alaska for work in exploration geology.  A couple of years later she met her husband, Jeff Kase, working in the town of Chicken, Alaska.  Before buying Hatcher Pass Cabins, Natalie and Jeff lived in their 360-sq ft cabin on 20 acres just 3 miles away.  No matter the season, Natalie and Jeff are out spending time in Hatcher Pass and throughout the Valley running, hiking, biking, nordic skiing, and backcountry skiing.  Natalie and Jeff are very excited to have you stay at Hatcher Pass Cabins with them and to share why they love Hatcher Pass and the Mat-Su Valley so much.
