Response to COVID-19

With the onset of the COVID-19, we want to ensure all new and returning guests that your health and safety is always one of our top priorities at Hatcher Pass Cabins. Though we have always maintained high standards when it comes to keeping our cabins clean, now more than ever we are keeping up to date with current CDC and WHO guidelines for best practices on keeping our cabins clean and disinfected. We would like to share with you some of the measures we take to ensure the health and safety of housekeepers and guests.

  • If possible, we wait 24 hours after a guest leaves to begin cleaning the cabin.

  • We ventilate the cabins before and while cleaning to help fresh air circulate throughout the cabin.

  • We wash our hands thoroughly before and after cleaning each cabin.

  • Disposable gloves are worn throughout the cleaning process and then discarded when finished.

  • All hard surfaces are cleaned with soap or detergent to remove germs, dirt, and other impurities. The surfaces are then disinfected to kill any remaining germs that may still be on the surface.

  • Special attention is paid to frequently touched surfaces such as light switches, doorknobs, faucet handles, backs of hard chairs, countertops, etc.

  • Soft surfaces such as carpets and rugs have visible dirt or grime removed with soap and water and then the appropriate cleaner is used on the material.

  • All linens are washed at the highest recommended heat setting and disposable gloves are used when handling dirty laundry. Laundry baskets are cleaned and disinfected after each use.

Rest assured, when you are ready, Hatcher Pass Cabins is here to provide the getaway you and your family need.  We are committed to making your stay everything you want it to be.
